Job Description
The Legal Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the Legal Department, assisting in administrative, clerical, and research-related tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Organizing and maintaining both soft and hard copies of company and client files, including directories and records management.
- Assisting in drafting basic legal documents such as summonses, motions, subpoenas, and conducting preliminary research or reviewing legal articles.
- Performing clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and answering phone calls.
- Providing secretarial support to Managing Partners, including creating and maintaining schedules.
- Assisting in the preparation and organization of documents and reportorial requirements for submission to government agencies such as the SEC, Bureau of Immigration, Barangay and City Governments, and Courts.
- Ensuring confidentiality by safeguarding sensitive client and lawyer information.
- Performing other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications and Key Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Humanities/Liberal Arts, Political Science, or equivalent field.
- Proficiency in basic office computer applications and software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and flexible, able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Strong sense of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Willingness to work on-site at Bonifacio Global City.
